CPDO: What is Experiential Learning / STINT?

Experiential learning refers to hands-on experience you obtain by applying theoretical knowledge in a real-world setting. We also call it learning outside the classroom! With experiential learning, students may have the chance to ‘test-drive’ a particular job, employment sector, or community organization to see if it is a good fit with their skills and interests

One of the Experiential learning programs that the CPDO runs is the STudent INTernship (STINT) program which is a one-day job shadowing program.  Under the program students are matched with members of the legal profession in private practice, government, public interest organizations and the judiciary.
