Accommodation Information: Ivey Spencer Leadership Centre

Accommodation arrangements for all speakers, panel chairs, and attendees must be made separately from registration for the conference.  The registration fee does not include accommodation.

The conference is being held at the Ivey Spencer Leadership Centre at 551 Windermere Road in London, Ontario.  We encourage you to book your accommodation at the Centre.  This will allow you to stay on-site for the conference.  More information about the Centre and its guest rooms is available here.

We have arranged special rates at the Centre.  If you book before December 31, 2011, the rate is $125 plus tax per night.  If you book after that date the rate is $145 plus tax per night.

There is an opening reception at the Centre on the evening of Tuesday, July 17, 2012.  There is also a closing reception at the Centre on the evening of Friday, July 20, 2012.  To take full advantage of these events, we encourage you to stay at the Centre for all four nights of the conference, arriving on the afternoon of July 17 and leaving on the morning of July 21.

You can book accommodation at the Centre by clicking here. If you book on-line, please note the following:

(a) if you change the default arrival date from July 17, the departure date will automatically change from July 21 to the day after your arrival date, so you may then need to also change the departure date;

(b) the space for “contact name” should be used simply to enter your first and last name together; and

(c) your credit card number should be entered without spaces or dashes.

If you have any problems booking on-line, would prefer to book by phone, or have any questions about the accommodation at the Centre or any special requests, please call (519) 679-4546.  If she is not available you can leave a message or press 0 for the front desk.

We hope to be able to accommodate all of you at the Centre.  However, there will be some limitations on the number of available rooms, particularly as we get closer to the conference.  We encourage you to book early to avoid disappointment.

Any questions about accommodations that cannot be answered by the staff at the Centre should be directed to Stephen Pitel (spitel@uwo.ca).
