The UCC is the social centre of the university and houses a variety store and pharmacy, post office, banking machines, the Book Store, Centrespot cafeteria, Photo Developing Centre, Artcraft Studio, the Wave, the Spoke, Style One hair salon, Travel Cuts, Student Health Services, University Students' Council, the Student Development Centre, and sports facilities to name but a few. The UCC is a quick walk from the Law School. It is also where student activities such as clubs day, cultural events, fine arts festival and other student initiatives occur. Western Film is also at the UCC. It shows relatively current movies for the reduced price of $4.99. ($3.50 on Tuesdays).
