Law profs honoured
Western Law professors Gillian Demeyere, Valerie Oosterveld and Adam Parachin and adjunct professors John Craig and Vern DaRe along with January Term professor Rick Bigwood have been awarded the USC Teaching Honour Roll Award of Excellence for 2007 - 2008.
"Western prides itself on providing the best student experience in a research-intensive university," says Dean Ian Holloway. "For us in the law school, that begins in the classroom. The committment to excellence shown by these colleagues serves as an example to us all of how to live Western's committment."
This award is given to professors who receive an accumulated average of 6.3 or higher out of 7 on the first 14 questions of the Teaching Evaluations.
