Western Law's Intellectual Property Association (WIPA) provides students with opportunities to share and explore the exciting areas of intellectual property, technology, trademark and copyright. WIPA offers speaker events, social events and firm tours to provide insight into challenges and issues within these areas of law. The events provide exciting opportunities for networking with students and firms, and will be scheduled throughout the school year.
Western Intellectual Property Association
Each year the club will solicit first year student volunteers to help plan and organize club events. Ideally, some of the first year students will continue their involvement and run the club in the following year. Those who are interested in helping out will see announcements at the beginning of the year.
