1st Year Representative Elections:

Elections for 1st year representatives on the SLS take place in September of each academic year.  When established, election dates are communicated to students and posted on the SLS Calendar.

Clubs and Committees:

Positions for first-year students on clubs and committees become available in the fall of each academic year.  Positions for students entering second and third year are available through an application and interview process conducted in the spring of each academic year. Details on the availability of positions on clubs and committees are communicated to students, and deadlines are posted on the SLS Calendar.

Executive Elections:

Elections for the SLS Executive are held in the spring of each academic year.  When established, election dates are communicated to students and posted on the SLS Calendar.

2nd and 3rd Year Representative Elections:

Elections for 2nd and 3rd year representatives are held shortly after the Executive elections in the spring of each academic year.  As a result, unsuccessful candidates for Executive positions are still able to run for year representative positions.

University Students’ Council:

While not specific to the law school, positions under the USC provide students with excellent opportunities to explore a wide variety of interests.  For more details, please visit  www.usc.uwo.ca.
