An extraordinary program of exchange opportunities complements Western Law's international outlook. We at Western Law believe that in this era of globalization, exposure to another legal system is of tremendous importance. Immersion in a different culture is one of the most enriching aspects of this unique and rewarding educational experience.
Western Law’s International Summer Law Internship Program (ISLIP) was launched in March 2006, to provide Western Law students with interesting and substantive summer international law internship placements. The ISLIP provides students with the opportunity to expand their knowledge of international and comparative law and international issues while applying their legal knowledge and skills in a professional environment. Through the generosity of various donors and the Faculty of Law, the program provides financial support towards the ISLIP placements.
